About Us
The Alexander & Buono Foundation (ABF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation established in 2008 with a mission to identify the world’s most promising classical musicians and help them launch and sustain careers, while developing new audiences who understand, value, and appreciate classical music through access to free lectures, videos, and performances discussing repertoire, technique, and composers.
ABF addresses every aspect of music education by providing private lessons, master classes, career counseling, and curricula for Pre-College and College Admissions.
The Alexander & Buono Competitions for Piano, Voice, Strings, and Flute (ABC) have been responsible for helping more than five hundred winners launch and sustain their careers through Carnegie Hall performance debuts, and sponsorship of concerts and recordings. Eight ABC piano laureates have become Young Steinway Artists on a roster totaling only 130 such artists worldwide.
We invite you to view our site and discover the many ways we work with student and professional musicians throughout the world, guiding them along a path to successful and fulfilling careers.
