The Gala Issue (Fall / Winter 2024)

Our next edition of The ABI Journal provides exciting reports, not only on the Winners’ Recital of the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition and the Alexander & Buono International String Competition, but also our Sixteenth Annual ABC Gala Concert, where ABC laureates from three continents will be performing. 

We will also be reporting on seventeen-year-old pianist Nana Miyoshi. Never have we known a more focused and committed musician, or a person more dedicated to seeing to it that she has the professional career as a concert artist of which she has always dreamed.  We will also talk about the design of her new website, and why it is about so much more than just her music.

Finally, we will be reporting on recordings by two of the people on our roster of Alexander & Buono Artists, Silvia Schiaffino and Rupert Egerton-Smith, and the stories behind their latest releases.
